Sprucing Up Springfield

Sprucing Up Springfield is a program of the Springfield community Federation that takes place annually. It has been a part of the Springfield community since 1998. Our mission is to choose a neighborhood that needs to re-establish its identity, and infuse a sense of community pride by cleaning and improving its appearance.

Each year, a planning committee is selected to work closely with a neighborhood association in Springfield to create and execute a plan for beautification and clean up of the selected area.

These are the neighborhoods that we have worked with in the past:

  2006: Pillsbury Mills Neighborhood Association
2005: Vinegar Hill Neighborhood Association
2004: Spears-Wilson-Edwards & Eastside Neighborhood Improvement Association
2003: Jaycee Park Neighborhood Association
2002: Brandon Neighborhood
2001: Mather Wells
2000: Chamberlain-Jaycee Park
1999: Enos Park Neighborhood
1998: Mather Wells
